Suwannee County 4-H Clubs along with Mr. Brian Cobble from the US Forestry Service and Mr. Greg Scott from Suwannee County Parks and Recreation planted trees at Harrell Heights Park on Florida's Arbor Day, January 16, 2009.4-H'ers planted over 50 trees at Harrell Heights Park and took more than 350 trees to plant at their homes. These trees will count towards the 4-H Million Tree Project, in which 4-H'ers from across the nation will plant trees to help the environment.
Mr. Brian Cobble, from the US Forstry Service speaks to the group of over 45 people about the types of trees they would plant on Arbor Day. The white bag in the front contained over 1000 slash pine saplings.
Mr. Greg Scott, from Suwannee County Parks and Recreation, helps 4-H'ers plant a dogwood on Arbor Day.
