Teambuilding Puzzle

In the February edition of Suwannee County 4-H News I challenged you with the following puzzle. Connect all nine dots using only four lines without lifting your pencil off of the paper.

Did you get the right answer?

If not, here it is.

The term "thinking outside the box" comes from this activity. You have to use imaginary dots outside of the existing puzzle to solve the problem. Sometimes on teams or in 4-H clubs we have to use crazy ideas to solve our problems. We have to get away from our normal way of thinking to make come up with new results. Good luck with your teams and 4-H clubs!
